We exist to change lives through education. We believe that when children experience bold learning and rich opportunities, they develop confidence, resilience and aspiration that stays with them long after they leave primary school.

The Belmore Pledge

At Belmore, our values are not just words, they are qualities children grow into and are proud to achieve. Through The Belmore Pledge, we celebrate children who show these qualities in their learning, behaviour and relationships.

Children work towards Belmore Pledge certificates that recognise how they are developing as learners and as people.

Belmore Pledge in Action

Sam was brilliant helping a new classmate feel welcome. He showed kindness to them and so was awarded a Belmore Pledge certificate in assembly.

Gurpreet worked hard to learn the new phonics sounds she found tricky. Her teacher recognised and praised the resilience she showed in not giving up.

Amari joined the year 6 booster breakfast club every day, he was determined to succeed and through his commitment to learning he exceeded his own expectations.

Keisha wants to be a vet when she grows up. She asked her teacher what she needs to do and her teacher supported her to start a science project to find out more about being a vet and looking after the school pets.
